I grabbed two towels and a water bottle and threw on leggings and tank top. We walked into the dark dimly lit room, find our spot and start to stretch. The instructor came in and walked around the room calling out positions and helping correct anyone who was doing it wrong. I soon realized how much I need to work on my balance and stability. My thighs were quivering trying to hold various positions. And man, was I sweating!!! It was rolling down my face. So gross! My the middle I was having a hard time catching my breathe and started to lessen up on how hard I tried to strike the position. By the end of the class we were laying on the mat working on abs so I was able to catch my breathe again. We said our "Namaste's" and walked out of the hot hot room.
I have to say during yoga I wasn't liking it, but when we walked out of the room and left the building I felt so calm, and relaxed, and like for the first time in a while I could breathe. I couldn't believe how incredible I felt. I looked like a mess, but felt like a million bucks! I will definitely go again.
(It is now Monday, two days after yoga and I'm still a little sore!)
