My co-worker found this webinar for me this morning "Twitter 101" Write small, think BIG! Since I manage the Twitter account here at my work I thought it would be beneficial to listen in on this webinar.

These are the notes I wrote down during the webinar:

-Get connected

-Get your name out there

-The more interacted you are the more people will want to follow you

-Be mindful of what you post

-Use hashtags (#) to get your name out there (#giveback, #volunteer, #USA)

-Use no more than 3 hashtags a tweet

Twitter can be used to:

-Share

-Help

-Ask Questions

-Sell

1. Frequency

How often?

Don't tweet frequently, tweet meaningfully

80/20 rule  80% to add value, 20% to sell yourself

2. Keep Your Followers In Mind

Tweet what they want to hear/learn
