I had a great weekend, but I am really, really, really reallllllly getting sick of my drive from Illinois to Wisconsin and vice versa. Normally it is just road construction that slows me down on my way up to Wisconsin. Otherwise it is an ok drive. This time a lady shook her fist at me. Well hello lady get over in the right lane then- I yell from my car with my windows rolled up. Rule of thumb- if you have been passed by more than two cars get in the right lane. Why can't we all just go the same speed??? My speed??!!! If you can't hang then get out of my way!
But the drive back is always annoying. It is usually all Illinois plates on my way home and they clearly don't know how to drive. I always spend my drive back down stopping just about as much as I am driving. I think Illinois people are brake happy. One brakes because they freak out and before you know we are at a dead stop for NO REASON! And then people take off going 75 again. Why... what did we stop for? I really need to figure out when the least amount of people are driving back down to Illinois and get on the road then. Because when I leave at 3pm obviously is not a good time.
I'm annoyed again just thinking about my driving experience! Have a great week everyone.

ReplyDeleteSeriously, I think the same thing about Wisconsin drivers. The reason why IL drivers slam on their brakes is bc we try to go the speed limit. Wisconsinites are so slow they go 10 below!
ReplyDeleteWell I'm clearly not going to win being the solo Wisconsinite in the land of Illinoisans!
