“I hope you write someting really good. Something you believe in” -Stuart Whitworth

I finished reading "The Help" the other day. What a great summer read! I love reading books especially books that are turned into a movie. That was how I heard about this book. I saw a preview for the movie and thought it looked really good. Although I think I should watch the movie and then read the book.  I read "Dear John" and then watched the movie and was upset by how different they changed the movie.  Instead of enjoying the movie I am comparing it to the book, and thinking "This isn't how it happened, that's not who the guy should be, etc."  I have a feeling the movie will pretty much follow right along with the book on The Help. I can't wait to see this movie. I like Emma Stone. I really liked her in "Easy A".  I think my favorite part was her dancing around and singing "I got a pocket, got a pocket full of sunshine!"  "Crazy, Stupid, Love" looks good too.

I will try to not spoil anything from the book, but I will say that this is a must read for everyone.  It talks about being a leader and not following the pack, going against the norm, standing up for what you believe in, not being afraid to speak your mind, and not stopping when things get rough.... to name a few of the wonderful qualities I picked up in the book.  It was such an inspirational story.
