Hot Hot Monday!

Good Morning Everyone! Who's ready for the heat wave?! I went to North Ave beach Saturday morning and got great color. Then went to Improv that night and then to a gay bar. My first time there. Once you get past the strangeness of it all you realize they are playing all of your favorite songs and no one is bothering you. So we just danced the night away.

I did a little painting project friday night. A friend gave me a circle mirror in college and I have been thinking about dressing it up for some time now. So I found a picture, created a stencil out of it and painted it onto the mirror.

I found a hibiscus flower, printed it on cardstock paper and then cut it out with an exacto.

A picture of the finished piece. It looks great from far away but close up you can see the paint strokes.

Next time I think I will use spray paint. I should have known since my mom is the queen of spray paint.

She can do anything with a can of spray paint. But this will work for now. 

It is really hard to get a good photo of a mirror.
